Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of motbin.com, the MOTBIN dashboards and our live class platform (together, “the service”), provided by MOTBIN Tutors. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them on your behalf.

Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

Subscriptions and payment

• Subscriptions are per subject and last for the period shown with the price (usually one month), starting when your payment is confirmed. Renewing before the end date adds the new period to the current end date. Current prices are shown in your dashboard when you choose your subjects.
• Payments are processed by Paystack or Squad. A processing fee may apply at checkout.
• Subscriptions do not renew automatically. To continue, subscribe again when your month ends.
• If a paid class does not take place, contact us and we will arrange a replacement class or another fair remedy.

Classes and conduct

• Join only the classes you are enrolled in, using your own account.
• Be respectful to tutors and other students. Harassment, hateful or inappropriate content, and disruption are not allowed.
• Do not record classes or share class links, materials or other students’ information without permission.
• Tutors may mute or remove participants who break these rules, and we may suspend accounts that do so repeatedly.

Tutors

Tutor accounts are subject to approval. Approved tutors must teach only their assigned subjects, keep student information confidential and follow our safeguarding and conduct expectations.

Learning materials

Materials we provide are for your personal study. Resources in our e-library may be provided under their own open licences, which you should respect.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. We may update or change the service from time to time.

Results

We are committed to high-quality teaching, but examination results depend on many factors, including each student’s own effort, so we cannot guarantee specific grades.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected subscription.
